Thing that impressed me was the idea of being able to run all these games on Macs, iPads...even iPhones??

It does sound great but the pricing setup is kinda shit.
You have to pay the initial subscription charge and then for the games you wish to play but the major downside is that if you cancel your sub you lose access to all the games you've already paid for (and the pricing isnt exactly that much cheaper than buying them retail or download versions).
And from what I gather that even if you do keep the subscription active they can remove any game after a 3 year time period from its release so little hope of playing something you paid for years ago (not that its a massive issue for some games that dont warrant game time again but some people do like to go back and replay games they finished yonks ago, eh Mr Deus Ex Diggler ).

That is all pretty terrible, aye, and why this will ultimately fail. But it's very, very cool and interesting technologically, just proving this sort of thing is even possible. 10 years from now will we all be playing games like this..?
