I'm home cat-sitting at the mo', and think I picked up a virus on my ma's laptop. She doesn't have particularly good protection, and I somewhat stupidly went to filestube.com, and the next thing I know, the laptop's fucked.
Done a scan with AVG which picked up some dodgy registry settings, and I've deleted those. However there's still something here, as I keep getting random browser windows popping up with spam every few minutes. 'elp -------------------- |

Diggs. I use this now as AVG has been found 'wanting' in many area's recently ..
http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivi...4-10019223.html free, just like AVG Not sure it'll help, but worth a shot -------------------- |

Cheers Fell, been thinking of ditching AVG since I had a virus prob on my main PC last year as well. Will give it a bash.
